Workpiece Is Ejected By A Pneumatic (Hydraulic) Cylinder

Fig. 6.41 is a configuration of the stripper plate of a mold actuated by a pneumatic cylinder. The stripper ram I connects the mold and cylinder. The one end of stripper ram is fixed to the stationary fixing plate 3, the other end connects to th cylinder. The pneumatic cylinder starts to function when the mold is open. When great force is required, or when insufficient space is available, a hydraulic cylinder must be used
