Actuation Of Undercut- Forming Wedge Inserts With Lifting Elements

The wedge inserts can be lifted above the dividing plane of the mold with buttons actuated by lifting bars as shown in Fig. 7.28. The wedge insert 2 is opened by the inclined ide cko. During ejection process, the wedge inserts are pushed up by the swing lifting buttons actuated by ejector bar 4. When lifted, the swing lifting buttons 3 are supported by the ejector bar 4, thus preventing the wedge insert from falling back.

In Fig. 7. 29 the wedge inserts I are lifted by arms 2 fixed to the fixing plate 4 by pin 3. The wedge inserts are opened by the inclined guide track.
