Two-step Ejection by Spring
Fig 6.31 illustrates a two-step ejection by spring. Fig 6.31b shows the opening mold. Ejector plate actuated by spring 2 forces workpiece out of the forming core 9 when the mold opening as in Fig6.31b and c. The first ejection distance is limited by pin 4. The ejector pin fixed in the supporting plate 7 pulls the workpiece out of the ejector plate 1 during the ejection process.(Fig6.31d)

Operation: when the mold opens a distance, the swing bar 13 forced by the nose of hook turns around the shift 12 and push the ejector plate 4 up, the workpiece separates to forming insert 5.The moving distance is limited by limit pin 6.
