According to Fig. 6. 14 the plate 2 ejecting the waste is actuated by the limited pin 1.This design operates as follows: when the mold is opened in sub-parting line(PL I), the intermediate plate 6 moves a along the movable mold. The residual material in the runner is retained by pins 5 in the stationary part of the mold, and the needle gate breaks off(Fig. 6. 14b). When the mold has been opened a distance, the stroke limit pin 1 actuates the stripper 2 to the left, the residual material seperates from pulling pin 5 and sprue bush7, and the redidual material falls out of the mold (Fig 6.14c)
