Pulling Out The Side Pins By A Spindle

Fig 7.3 shows that an undercut-forming side insert is pulled out by a spindle. The undercut

forming side pins I can also be pulled out of the nest with the aid of the threaded spindle 5. The side

pins 1 are fixed between the plates 2, 3 and 4, which are guided by the inner fork 6. When the

worker turns handle 8. the manual crank 7 is turned, the threaded spindle 5 pulls the plates 2, 3 and

4 and thereby removes out the pins I from the workpieces.
