If the use of a stripper plate is insuficient for safe ejecting the workpiece, the inner surfice of the workpiece has to be pulled off the hole-shaping pin 4 by an ejector sleeve 18 as shown in Fig. 6.28, Stripper plate 5 is connected to ejector plates 17, 16 and 15 through a spacer screw 6.

Helewhwis pin 4 is fixed to clamping plate II and mobile clamping plate 12. Mobile mold cup 21 is held in the mold frame 7 and supporting plate S through clamping screw 10.

Operation: the mold opens, the reverse cooling-slug-well pulls the residual material out of the sprue bush 24. Following the opening of the mold, the ejector pin 14 impacts the stop bar of the machine, stripper plate S and ejector sleeve I8 have a relative movement to mobile mold cup 21  and hole-shaping pin 4. The workpiece is pulled off mobile mold cup 2I and hole-shaping pin 4, and the residual material is simultaneously pushed out off the bush 19 by puller pin 3.

Advantage: safe ejection of the workpiece.

Disadvantage: since the wall of ejector sleeve 18 is thin, the strength must be considered carefully
