The exhaust system of the Plastic speaker housing cover mould is so important that we should pay attention to the following factors when designing:
(1) The exhaust groove should be designed on the parting surface as much as possible and on the concave mold as much as possible;
(2) The exhaust groove should be designed at the end of the material flow and the thicker part of the plastic part as much as possible;
(3) The exhaust direction of the exhaust slot should not face the operator, and it is best to be curved to prevent scalding the worker during injection;
(4) The size of the exhaust groove is usually 1.5~1.6mm wide according to experience, and the groove depth is 0.2~0.5mm, so that the material does not enter the exhaust
The groove is suitable, and it should be smaller than the non-overflow gap of the plastic. Checking the literature [1] found that the minimum non-overflow gap of ABS is 0.04~0.06mm. So we can take the groove depth as 0.02mm

(1) Try to make the distance between all cooling pipe holes and the surface of the outer cavity equal;
(2) In the mold of plastic parts with large shrinkage, a cooling circuit should be arranged along the shrinking direction;
(3) Strengthen the cooling at the gate;
(4) Avoid opening the cooling pipe in the fusion pattern of the plastic part;
(5) Pay attention to the sealing problem of the water pipe to avoid water leakage.
